GET INVOLVED

Three ways to stand behind this work.

Serve. Give. Connect. Your way in.

Volunteer

Time, skills, a seat at the table. Board, event, or skill volunteer we need people.

Become a member

Become a member and support the foundation with annual donation.

Donate

Donate one time or reoccurring with any amount of your choosing.

Volunteer

Supporting the men and women of the Redmond Police Department is not a one person job, and it is not a board only job either. The Foundation runs on volunteers who bring time, skills, and ideas we do not have on our own. Below are three of the ways people get involved. If you see another way to contribute, whether that is an idea, a connection, or a skill we have not thought to ask for, email us at volunteer@redmondpolicefoundation.org. We read every message.

Storytelling

Good work only matters if people know about it. If you take photos, write well, or know your way around social media, you can help us show the community what the Foundation does and why it matters. This is a great fit for volunteers who want flexible, project based ways to contribute.

Events

Our fundraisers and recognition events are where the Foundation shows up for the department and the community in person. If you like planning parties, running logistics, or just rolling up your sleeves on event day, we can use you. Individuals and groups both welcome.

Board

The most impactful way to get involved is to join our board. Board members commit roughly 5-10 hours a month and help steer the direction of the Foundation, from fundraising strategy to community programs. If that sounds like the kind of contribution you want to make, we would love to talk.

Become a member

  • $1,000 per year. Open to all.

This is where most of our members start, and it is the tier that keeps the Foundation running. Your support funds the programs, equipment, and recognition that help the Redmond Police Department do its job well. You will receive a welcome kit, our quarterly newsletter, and an invitation to our annual meeting so you can see exactly how your contribution is at work. No cap on this tier. The more community members who stand behind RPD, the stronger the Foundation gets.

  • $2,500 per year. Limited to 10 members.

Community Leaders set the tone. This tier is for members who want to go beyond general support and be visibly connected to the Foundation's work. You will be recognized by name on our website, invited to RPD graduation ceremonies alongside the officers and their families, and included in everything Community Supporters receive. We cap this tier at ten members because the graduation invite is a meaningful moment, not a mass event, and we want the people there to be there for the right reasons.

  • $10,000 per year. Limited to 5 members.

Pace Setters help us take on the bigger initiatives, the ones we could not attempt without serious backing. In addition to every Community Leader benefit, this tier includes an invitation to an exclusive annual event with Foundation leadership and RPD command staff, plus logo or name recognition at our public events. Five spots only. This tier is built for the people and organizations ready to put real weight behind public safety in Redmond.

  • $25,000 per year. Limited to 3 members.

Community Hero is the top of our membership structure, and it is reserved for three members a year. You will receive every benefit in every tier below, a permanent plaque in the RPD lobby recognizing your contribution, and a standing invitation to attend RPF board meetings as an observer. This is not a sponsorship. It is a commitment to the long term health of policing in Redmond, and we treat it that way.
